bBooth Announces “Laugh At My Expense” Winner!

MikeCanoLOLOLCongrats to Marlin, our first contest winner for Mike Cano’s “Laugh At My Expense Contest”! The contest invited Mike Cano’s fans to submit funny one-liner videos through bBooth‘s mobile app, Songstagram, soon-to-be renamed ‘kord‘. The “roast” style contest, launched just over a week ago, challenged participants to record and share their one-liner videos using the app.  Though there were plenty of hilarious entries, Marlin Croon’s popular video came out on top. As the winner, Marlin Croon received a cash reward, a meet and greet with Mike Cano, and a VIP table at The Ontario Improv’s “Mike Cano’s Comedy Party”. Click here to view her winning submission. bDiscovered: Artist Interview with Micky Fuentes


“You gotta work for what you want, it definitely doesn’t happen overnight. You need to learn to make things happen for yourself,” LA-based singer and songwriter Micky Fuentes admits. An indie rock/R&B singer by way of Florida, music has always been his passion growing up. In college he studied Events and Hospitality but always found his way back to music, teaching himself how to write, record, and produce, ultimately deciding that the best opportunity for him to fully commit to music was by moving to LA. Along the way Micky’s worked with noted writers and producers including our bRadio feature, rapper DeMario SB. Revolt TV held a Takeover exclusive with Grammy nominated and multi platinum artist Big Sean. He took a seat on stage for a heart to heart interview that felt more to me like a conversation. Well known for his relatable hits, ‘Beware’ and ‘Ashley’, to his powerful verses in Kanye West’s ‘Mercy’, the artist explains that he put his heart into his album ‘Dark Sky Paradise’, released February 24th.
